What began as a simple “addition of a spa” to an already interesting landscape turned into a complete yard makeover! When we walked the yard with the client during our initial meeting it became apparent that they were open to our ideas on how we could improve on the layout of the yard. After discussing what the homeowner was hoping to achieve, we suggested a “complete redesign” of the space to give it an updated, contemporary-traditional look. The existing home style would dictate the theme, and it was important to us that we be true to the era and style.
The finished product gave the clients what they were ultimately hoping for: views of the city lights, a formal dining space, an area to have an intimate gathering after dinner, a unique pool that had all of the latest accoutrements and a design that accentuated the depth of the yard, but still felt garden-like.
